Laura bjornstand & samantha ring
Laura and Samantha founded Boathouse Apparel, with boutiques located in Okoboji, IA and Washington D.C. Some of their products sold at Innovate 1858 include the “Game Day Crewneck” and the “Favorite Season Crewneck”.
Hannah brown
Hannah is the founder of Hannah’s Bees, located in Amana, IA. Some of Hannah’s products sold at Innovate 1858 are the car diffusers and the multi-scented lotions.
Skylar Bundridge
Skylar is the founder of Sky Ivy Design a print design company. Some of Skylar’s products sold at Innovate 1858 include the “Text Me Squirrel Crewneck”, and the “Football Swan Sticker”.
ANDREW BURGASON
Andrew is the owner of Windmill Coffee Roasters, a coffee company based in Ames, IA. Windmill collaborated with Innovate 1858 and Sparks Coffee to make the “Windmill Sparks 1858 Coffee Blend”.

Julio is the founder of “Buoy Club”, a hand designed apparel company. Julio designed the “Buoy Club” yellow t-shirt.
REGAN DOELY
Regan is the founder of Doe-A-Deer boutique, based in Stuart, IA. Some of Regan’s products sold at Innovate 1858 include the “Iowa Oven Mitt”, and the “A Little Sweet Sticker”.
mIRANDA eKERN
Miranda is the founder of Ekern Designs, a trendy print company. Miranda sells the “Etched Beer Can Glasses” with Innovate 1858.
CAROLINE FREESE
Caroline is the founder of Caroline Freese Designs. Some of her products are Jewelry dishes and the Swan Mug.
SYDNEY FRIEST
Sydney is the founder of Friest Designs. Some of her products include the “Woo Hoo! Card”, and the “Drink More Water Sticker”.
GAFFER’S GUILD
Gaffer’s Guild is student led, glass blowing club at Iowa State University. Some of their products sold at Innovate 1858 include the “Aqua Bud Vase” and their unique, multi-colored ornaments.

Bridget is the founder of B.E. Good, an inspiring and trendy clothing boutique. Some of her products sold at Innovate 1858 include the “Be Happy Baseball Hat”, and the “Be Happy It’s Gameday T-shirt”.
ISU HORTICULTURE CLUB
The ISU Horticulture Club is a student-led, horticulture club at Iowa State University. They made the farm and prairie honey sold at Innovate 1858.
DANIELLE JOHNSON
Danielle is the founder of Cheers Ink, a natural stone wholesale line that includes cheese boards, glassware, and more. Some of her items sold at Innovate 1858 include a cutting board.

Rylie is the founder of Rylie Kate’s Clay Design, an online clay jewelry company. Some of her items sold at Innovate 1858 include “Checkerboard Circle Earrings”, and “pink smiley earrings.”
MEGAN LENZI
Megan Lenzi was part of the Innovate 1858 student staff design competition in 2022. Megan designed the “Support Your Local Innovators” t-shirt.
PIPER MICHALSKI
Piper Michalski is the founder of Piper Rose Sewing, an online sewing and embroidery clothing brand. Some of her items sold at Innovate 1858 include a custom “Iowa State” baby-tee, and ISU bunting banner.
Lauren Goman
Lauren is a Fashion Design student and Innovate 1858 employee on the Buying team. She designed the “Innovate 1858 Cherry Hoodie”.
STACY NEGATE
Stacy Negate is the founder of Oak Lane Candle, a candle company located in Ames, IA. Some of her items sold at Innovate 1858 include her limited-time “Skull Candle” and “Melbourne Candle”.
MIA NICHOLS
Mia Nichols is the creator of hand-drawn art sold at Innovate 1858. Some of her items include the “Iowa State Inspired Collage Print”.
JENNY POLLARD
Jenny Pollard is the founder of Life Distilled, a modern-day apothecary”. She has a store located in downtown Ames, IA, where she sells her clean home products. Some of her items sold at Innovate 1858 are her essential oil roller packs.
CALEIGH SCHLICHTE
Caleigh is the founder of Created by Caleigh a new and upcoming brand that sells hand drawn designs. Some of her items sold at Innovate 1858 include “You’re Egg-Celent” stationary card, and the resin keychains.
LINDA TONG
Linda is the founder of Linda Tong Planners, an online stationary store. She currently promotes her business by doing pop-ups and guest speaking for entrepreneurship classes. Some of her items sold at Innovate 1858 are her planners and bookmarks.
EMILY WORRALL
Emily Worrall is a graduate student and the course instructor at Innovate 1858. She designed the “Head in The Clouds” forest green and lavender crewnecks at Innovate 1858.
